４世紀ごろ朝廷から九州の熊襲征伐を命じられた日本武尊（ヤマトタケルノミコト）は、女装して潜入しその首長を誅殺します。皇紀二千六百年とは神武天皇即位から2600年目を記念する昭和15年にあたり、太平洋戦争の1年前ですが日本中で様々な祝賀行事が開催されました。

Takeru no Mikoto, was ordered by the Imperial Court to conquer Kumaso in Kyushu, to do that he disguised himself as a woman and managed to approach and killed the leader of the tribe in 397.
